FABRICS and FRAME STRUCTURE

·      Fabrics

We use the highest quality of fabrics. Depending on the style of awning you’re looking for, we may suggest a specific type of fabric. Perhaps, you prefer a cloth like feel or need something a little heavier. Whatever look you’re trying to accomplish, we are going to have a great suggestion for you to use. Commercial fabrics are typically flame resistant as required by the State of Ohio. Residential fabrics are typically acrylic. The following are some of the brands we use:

  • Sunbrella, Dickson, Firesist, Eradi-Lite, & Nite-Lite Fabrics by Glen Raven
  • Sattler Fabrics
  • Recacril Fabrics by Reacasens USA
  • Canopy FS, Coastline Plus, Patio 500, & Natura Fabrics by Herculite
  • Weathermax & WeathermaxFR Fabrics by Safety Compenents
  • Ferrari Precontraint Fabric by Serge Ferrari

·      Frames

We custom make all the awning frames with the best structural materials. In the past years, majority of the frames were slip-fit fittings or welded construction using galvanized steel pipe and tubing.

Since 1994, all our welded frames are construction of aluminum tubing, which meets all building codes. The aluminum tubing does not rust like the galvanized steel tubing. Your frame typically will last several covers with any worry of repairs or replacement. The option of painting the frame is easily accomplished with aluminum with the help of Sherwin Williams acrylic latex Shercryl line or having the frame powder coated.
