The summer is almost over and it is time to schedule the take down and storage of your awning(s). Please call (216) 749-2233 ext 202 or email us your requested dates at hproctor@sbcglobal.net.

Scheduling

This is a reminder for all existing and new customers. We will come by to take down the awning(s) as close to the time period as you select. However, it is not always possible to be specific as to a time or date. We have over 300 storage customers to accommodate each season and have found a general time frame is best to alleviate weather and logistic concerns. In an effort to minimize your expense, we schedule take downs based on location to other customers in the same time periods.

To the extent that many of our customers choose the seame time periods, or that bad weather occurs, we may be unable to take down your awning(s) the time period you requested. We will do our best in these circumstances to serve you as soon as possible there after. If you want your awning(s) taken down after December 1st, there will be an extra charge of $55.

Maintenance

When we take down your awning(s), we fold them up and they are stored dry in a bag. If any maintenance is necessary (e.g. - cleaning, re-stiching, patching,etc.) we contact you to tell you what our suggestion is and price for doing this procedure. When we are told to proceed, we will complete the repair over the winter. All awnings that need to be cleaned are sent to a company, which specializes in cleaning only. The price for the cleaning and retreating the fabric with water repellant ids $1.35 per square foot, lus re-stiching the awning.

All awnings, which are cleaned, must be restitched in order to keep the awning intact when it is hand-scrubbed during the cleaning process. We suggest to have an awning cleaned professionally only once or twice during its life of the awning, due to the cost factor of the maintenance versus having a new awning made. If you decide to have the awning(s) cleaned, we must know your decision by first of the year in order to have your awning(s) back in time for spring put-up.
